One ledger. With your partner or small family.
Okidoky is built for couples and families. Scan receipts together, share weekly groceries, keep school costs apart and always know what's left at the end of the month — without arguing about who paid what.
- Safe under the privacy law — also for children's data
- Up to 3 accounts in Family Lifetime
- Works on any device
These patterns show up in most families
No judgment — this is just what happens when two (or more) of you buy groceries, fill up the car and pay bills.
"Did you pay that already?"
Same discussion every month about who paid what. One of you feels shortchanged. There's no simple overview that both of you can access.
Receipts in four jackets and a bag
Friday's groceries, Tuesday's fuel, last week's school supplies — spread across pockets, cars and the kitchen drawer. Total: no clue.
The savings goal stays abstract
You want to save for vacation, renovations or a buffer. But without a monthly overview, saving always feels like something for 'next month'.
End of the month — now what?
The 28th has arrived and someone asks 'can we still do this?'. No idea. You open the banking app, add three cards and hope for the best.
Shared control of the household, in minutes per week
We designed Okidoky so that shared use feels like the starting point, not an afterthought. Every feature works for one person AND a household.
One ledger, two (or more) logins
Invite your partner with one email address. Everyone sees everything, everyone adds what they spend, and the math adds up automatically.
Arguments about who paid: solved
Scan receipts at the supermarket bench
Photo, done. Okidoky reads the date, total and store and creates the transaction. Receipts are archived automatically — no more shoeboxes.
No more paper piles
See what's coming at a glance
Fixed costs, subscriptions, school direct debits — all calculated automatically. One click and you know what's left 3 months from now based on your current pattern.
Planning becomes easier
Alerts for unusual expenses
Unusually high transaction? Subscription that suddenly went up? Okidoky warns you automatically — so you're not surprised at month-end.
No nasty surprises

Common questions from parents
How does sharing exactly work — does my partner see all my transactions?
Yes, in a shared ledger both of you see everything. That's usually exactly what you want in a household. But each has their own login, password and extra login protection. You choose per person whether they can only view or also edit.
Can I give my child their own account for pocket money?
Yes, with Family Lifetime you invite up to 2 extra people — that can perfectly be your children. Older kids can track their own pocket money and learn to budget. For children under 16, the privacy law requires parental consent — since you invite the account yourself from your own Family account, that responsibility rests with you as the parent.
What if we split up?
The ledger owner can always revoke a partner's access. The data stays with the owner; the other party loses access to that ledger but keeps their own Okidoky account. You can also export any time if you want to take data with you.
Can we track school costs separately?
Yes. You can create categories like "School Emma" or "Sports Tim" and link all related expenses. The overview then shows exactly what each child costs per month and per year — useful for child benefit administration or tax deductions.
Is it safe to store sensitive family data?
Yes. All data is encrypted, servers are in the EU and we strictly follow the privacy law. For banking data you only import a file (no direct access to your bank). Read our full security page for more details.
