Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit our website. They help us to make the website function properly, make it more secure, provide a better user experience and understand how the website is used.

Some cookies are essential for the functioning of Okidoky, while others are optional and are only placed with your consent.

okidoky_stats_consent— Cookie that tells our server you allow analytics cookies; without it we only store page visits with a shortened IP address and without your account. Valid for 12 months; we delete it as soon as you withdraw your consent.

Visitor and tab number (storage in your browser)— Without a choice, only a random number per browser tab (sessionStorage) that disappears when you close the tab. After your consent also a persistent visitor number (localStorage), which stays until you withdraw your consent or clear your browser data. If you decline analytics cookies, we use neither.

Retention period: Maximum 2 years

Google Analytics 4

The Google Analytics script is loaded on the website and in the app. Without your consent it sets no analytics cookies (Consent Mode v2), but Google can still receive technical data such as your IP address and the page address. With consent also: visited pages, browser and device information and session duration. Data from your ledger (amounts, descriptions) never goes to Google.

On pages whose address starts with /coach or /begeleiding (Okidoky Coach), we do not use Google Analytics, show no ads and keep no visitor statistics of our own. The same applies when a coach views a client's ledger: no Google Analytics, no ads and no visitor statistics of our own.

Google Fonts & jsDelivr (no cookies)

Typography and icon fonts are loaded from external CDNs. They do NOT set cookies, but they do see your IP address with each font request. See our sub-processors page for full detail and our migration plan to self-hosted.

5. Managing cookies

6. Do Not Track (DNT)

Okidoky currently does not respond automatically to your browser's "Do Not Track" setting. Don't want analytics or advertising cookies? Then decline them in the cookie banner. We remember that choice in your browser, and you can change it at any time, as described above.

7. Changes

RULIDO may update this cookie policy from time to time. The most recent version is always available on this page. In case of substantial changes, you will be notified by email.

8. Advertisements & Tracking

Okidoky displays advertisements from external companies on the platform. It is important to know the following:

No third-party tracking cookies

Our own advertising platform (direct-sold banners) uses no third-party tracking cookies — we don't track you across other websites ourselves. Separately, we use Google AdSense as a fallback when no direct-sold banner is available for a free-tier user. AdSense is a third-party network with its own cookies, consent-gated via Consent Mode v2 (ad_storage default denied). See /sub-verwerkers for the full breakdown.

What we do measure

For measuring advertisement performance, we use minimal server-side tracking:

Impression deduplication: we temporarily record a combination of IP address and zone to prevent the same advertisement from being counted multiple times per visit. This data is automatically deleted after 90 days.
Click fraud prevention: we limit the number of clicks per IP address to prevent abuse.

Advertiser portal cookies

The advertiser portal (adverteren.okidoky.nl) uses a separate session cookie for authentication. This cookie is necessary for the functioning of the portal and is deleted upon logging out.
