  • How can I delete my account?
    Send an email to info@okidoky.nl with your username and we will delete your account within 48 hours. All your data will be permanently removed.
  • I forgot my password, what now?
    Go to the login page and click "Forgot password". You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
  • How can I upgrade to Premium or Lifetime?
    Log in to your account, go to your profile and click "Upgrade". You can choose between Premium (€1.50/month) or Lifetime (€25 one-time).
  • Can I export my data?
    Yes. With a Premium or Lifetime account you can export all your transactions to CSV. Go to Expenses or Income and click the export button.
  • Is Okidoky secure?
    Absolutely. Your data is stored encrypted on European servers and we never share your data with third parties. We are fully GDPR compliant.
  • What happens to my data if Okidoky shuts down or goes bankrupt?
    Honest answer: we warn you well in advance and you can always export your data to CSV — which works in any tool (Excel, Google Sheets, other apps). No lock-in. We also have an Open Source Pledge: if Okidoky ever stops, we publish the source code so the app can technically be continued by anyone.
  • Do I need to provide a credit card at signup?
    No. The free plan requires no credit card, no IBAN, nothing. Only an email address and password. You only upgrade to Premium (€1.50/mo) or Lifetime (€25) when you choose to — via iDEAL, credit card or PayPal through Mollie.
  • Do you see my bank transactions live?
    No. We have no PSD2/live bank integration. Transactions enter Okidoky via CSV import (ING and KNAB auto-detected, other Dutch banks via column mapping) or manual entry. This is a deliberate choice: no third-party aggregators listening in, no permanent access to your bank environment.
  • Can I migrate from Excel or another app?
    Yes. Export your existing data to CSV and import it into Okidoky via the Bank Import feature (info at /banken) or by mapping columns manually. We have a migration guide at /migratie with steps for Excel and YNAB. Usually takes 10-20 minutes for a year of transactions.
  • Do you share data with tax authorities or government?
    No — not proactively. If the police or tax authorities issue a court order for specific data, we must legally honor it (like any Dutch hosting provider). We log such requests and publish a transparency notice. In practice we have not seen this happen since founding.
  • What if I no longer want the upgrade?
    Premium can be cancelled monthly via your profile — no notice period, no hassle. Lifetime falls under the 14-day EU statutory right of withdrawal: full refund within 14 days; after that you keep Lifetime access but no refund. See our Guarantee page for exact terms.
  • Can Okidoky suddenly raise prices?
    Lifetime is Lifetime — pay €25 today and your account stays on Lifetime forever, even if we introduce a more expensive Lifetime tier five years from now. For Premium: if prices rise, existing users get at least 90 days advance notice, an explanation why, and keep their old price for at least 12 more months. Okidoky is built by a single maker at RULIDO in the Netherlands. Your message lands directly with a human — no ticketing system, no outsourced call center, no AI chatbot that "understands" your question.

Complex technical questions and general feedback land in the same inbox. If you mention something we can improve, it goes on the roadmap.
